Opt into an early arrival and get more time in Amsterdam! Our guide will drop by around 8pm to take anyone who is interested out on the town for food or drinks. We recommend it!

Day 1 - Friday: The Inner Rings
The weekend officially kicks off Friday morning. Our WSA local will meet the group at the hostel and break down the weekend before we strike out the town together. Navigate the narrow alleyways and canals of central Amsterdam as you make your way south to Europe’s biggest outdoor flea market, Albert Cuyp.

After sampling some fresh herring and stroopwaffles, you'll walk over to Museumplein, Amsterdam’s museum district, and skip the line into the Van Gogh museum to ponder some groundbreaking impressionist work. You'll take a peak at Vondelpark, the place NYC’s Central Park was modeled after, before looping back up to the Hostel through Amsterdam’s entertainment district, Leidesplein. Take the afternoon off to shop and explore, and the group will meet back up at 9:00pm for a stroll through Amsterdam's notorious Red Light District.  * note June-August trips do not include Van Gogh Museum

Day 2 - Saturday: More of Europe’s Craziest City
The group will meet up first thing 10am, and walk over to skip the line into the Anne Frank House: the place where young Anne and her Jewish family hid from the Nazi's for over two years. That afternoon, you'll pit stop at the famous Pancake House, taste some unforgettable apple pie and explore the Noordmarket bursting with local produce, dairy and baked goods stalls. Later that afternoon, its on for a diamond cutting demonstration followed by an optional evening cruise to take in the city from the most beautiful angle: the famous canals. * note June-August trips do not include Anne Frank house

Day 3 - Sunday: Tearful Goodbyes
Spend your last day exploring another fun neighborhood of town, checking out another one of Amsterdam’s hundreds of museums, getting out to the breathtaking Keukenhof Tulip Fields, or crossing the River Ij on a free ferry to explore the north side of town. Happy Backpackers

Bogi is a great guide. She was everything you could want in a guide plus more. She was fun, cool, and the best part- knowledgeable. She really made the trip great. We got to the hostel late and she was able to rearrange our schedule so everyone could go caving. After caving we were picked up by Bogi (thank goodness because figuring out Hungarian public transportation is really hard if you don't speak Hungarian). WSA made sure to include super cool things- caving, thermal baths, bus tickets, escape games and the hostel. I would definitely do this trip again. Bogi was fun and flexible, we didn't have to stick to a tight schedule and we were able to do things that we wanted to do like the Liberty Statue. She is great, WSA is lucky to have her.
