The Isle of Capri…

There is a reason why Capri has been a resort town since the time of the Romans. The natural stone formations, the deep blue water and bright flowers create a stunning environment. But beyond the beauty, Capri has a relaxed atmosphere that makes one want to stop and savor life.
After a thirty-minute ferry ride from Sorrento, I partook in the Capri experience. The ferry docked at Marina Grande and from there, I took a funicular to the town of Capri. The ritzy shops and restaurants in the town of Capri can only be described as decadent. Stopping to buy a lemon grinta, I did a little window-shopping before hiking around the Island. The weather was warm during my hike and the cool, blue water called out to me. I made my way to Marina Piccola where I jumped into the water to cool off. I finished my afternoon with a delicious lunch overlooking the water!
I recently went on the Budapest weekend trip with my roommate from Ireland. We had the BEST time ever! The whole weekend was planned out for us by our amazing and funny leader Bogi.
