Pizza in Naples

I folded the warm crust of the pizza, making sure not to loose any of the mozzarella or tomatoes.  Slowly, I lifted the pizza and took a bite.  The pizza was simple – only tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella – but it was the most delicious pizza I had ever tasted.  The simple ingredients were fresh and everything baked to perfection in a wood-burning oven.  I took another bite, and hoped the taste would last forever.

When in Naples, you must eat pizza.  But if you are in Naples, don’t just go to any old pizzeria.  L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele is one of the most famous pizzerias in all of Naples and all of Italy. Established in 1870, L’Antica Pizzeria has been cooking with the same simple, fresh ingredients and attracted people from all over the world. You might even recognize this pizzeria from the movie Eat, Pray, Love with Julia Roberts.

Travel Tip:  This pizzeria is only a short walk from the train station.  If you have a little extra time to kill at the Naples train station, definitely go to L’Antica Pizzeria!

Happy Backpackers

I had an absolutely amazing time on my WSA trip to Krakow, Poland. I felt like a got a lot out of my money and it was so nice not to have to worry about anything because WSA takes care of it all. Our guide was absolutely fantastic and was there with us for everything we needed-it was great to have someone around with you who knew the city so well. This is definitely a trip I will never forget. I already want to start planning my next WSA trip. What amazing destination to pick next is the hard part!
