Having a bike in Amsterdam..

Just yesterday I rented a bike for my stay here in Amsterdam. Having a bike in this city really opens it up to you. You can get cross-town in a zip rather than spending almost $5 for a single tram ride. It's incredible just how well-thought out the bike-friendly system is here: from the bike parking garages to lanes contructed solely for bikes independent of the motorways entirely. It's something I'd highly recommend doing on any trip to this beautiful city!
Andy and his crew were awesome. They helped us navigate the city and showed us its innumerable historic sites (Colosseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain, etc.) with the option of going to Easter Mass at the Vatican if you pick the right weekend.
