Podcast Production Internship

We need someone to take the raw files, and edit them to create a compelling finished podcast.  Once completed they will also need to publish the podcasts to various platforms.  Our ideal candidate would also be able to summarize each episode and capture the show notes and upload this information on our website and help us respond to comments from listeners.

The most important skill will be taking the raw audio and creating a cohesive finished product with a smooth flow.  We typically have recorded about 45 minutes of raw material and are aiming for a finished product of 20-30 minutes.
In addition to editing, this person will need to have strong project management and time management skills.  Our team works remotely so clearly communicating what the editor is working on, what feedback or next steps are needed for each podcast, and the status of each podcast is key.
Ideally this candidate could also help build awareness of the podcast and be able to secure sponsors.

Ideal Candidates:
- Has experience editing and producing audio content
- Can take raw content and craft it into a compelling story
- Demonstrates strong time management and project management skills
- Can work independently and clearly communicate with the team
- Has their own computer and editing software
- Can work with team to develop strategy around how to optimize podcast so it generates revenue.

Happy Backpackers

This past weekend a group of my friends and I decided to go to Budapest, but wanted to go with a group because we were unsure of what we wanted to do and how to plan our trip. Booking the trip through WSA was the best idea we ever had. It was basically all planned out for us (excluding flights). It was great because there were plenty of things planned for us that were included in the package, but there was also a bit of free time for us to explore the city and do the things we were most interested in. I really enjoyed the caving and thermal baths we visited during our trip! Also the hostel that was booked for us through WSA was great and our tour guide, Bogi, was amazing! I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone and am happy to say that I will be booking more trips with WSA in the future!
