WSA'S BEST of the NORTH ITINERARY

Day 1 - Saturday: Arrival & Welcome

We'll forward you directions ahead of time on how to get from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport to our city-center hostel. We use hostels like The Winston, Flying Pig Uptown & Downtown and the Generator. We'll meet up at the hostel and your guide will make some great recomendations for your first night in Amsterdam.

Day 2 - Sunday: Amsterdam's Old Town Center & Anne Frank House

Welcome to the amazing city of Amsterdam. Our fun local guide will show you the beautiful canals, you'll skip the line into the Anne Frank House, and you'll try some of the famous apple pie & waffles. You'll have free time for the afternoon, then we'll meet up in the evening for a canal cruise through the heart of the city.

Day 3 - Monday: Renaissance Expansion

We'll kick off our day with a visit to a diamond cutting factory, and we'll make our way south to one of Europe's biggest outdoor flea market, Albert Cuyp. We'll catch an afternoon entry into the Van Gogh museum, and wrap up in time for a few hours checking out Vondelpark and Leidseplein's entertainment district.

Day 4 - Tuesday: Onwards to Brussels

We'll have an early morning ride to Brussels in order to have time in the afternoon to check out the city. We'll sample some of the local delicacies like the world's best beer, chocolate, waffles and fries. An intro walking tour will show you the highlights like the classic main square, and the Mannekin Pis. We'll enjoy a night out on the town learning all about Belgian brews.

Day 5 - Wednesday: Stop in Bruges and onto Paris

We'll head out early in the morning, around 8am and stop at the Atomium for a classic photo opp  then its off to Bruges to explore the picturesque town and enjoy a lunch on the main square. We'll meet back up at about 3pm and head into Paris. We'll have a late evening check into our hostel in Paris, and meet up to check out the neighborhood.

Day 6 - Thursday: Bienvenue! Exploring the ‘Left Bank’

WSA's passionate Parisian guide will kick off the tour at 10:00am on Friday, where he’ll break down the itinerary for the weekend. Spend Friday morning walking through historic heart of the city: the Latin Quarter, St. Germain, Isle de la Cite and to go inside the Cathedral of Notre Dame. You'll zip across town on the Parisian metro to climb the Eiffel Tower, entry included!

Rendezvous at 6:30 PM for dinner: enjoy a traditional Parisian dining experience—duck, escargot and red wine!—in the super typical Rue Cler neighborhood, run by an eccentric one-man show chef. We'll head out on the town afterwards to explore another beautiful neighborhood of Paris.

Day 7 - Friday: The Royal Right

Today's your chance to explore the Louvre and the Champs Elysees, Paris’ most famous boulevard. The group will head to the museum in the morning to catch a glimpse of the Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace and some of WSA's favorite large-scale French paintings. Take some free time to see anything else of interest in the museum, then hop on the tube to take a stroll down the Champs Elysees.

At 5:00pm, WSA’s local guide will take you up to the Bohemian and offbeat neighborhood, Monmartre. Montmartre is also home to the notorious Red Light district of Paris and the Moulin Rouge Theater. You'll make your way to the top of the hill for an unforgettable sunset panorama of Paris, and go inside the beautiful Sacre Coeur church. 

We'll close out the night with a gorgeous cruise down the River Seine where you can see all of Paris' best sights at night!

Day 8 - Saturday: Markets, Options & Tearful Goodbyes

Saturday morning is yours to explore local farmers’ markets selling cheeses, produce and souvenirs not far from the hostel. Otherwise, talk to your WSA guide for tips on getting out to Disneyland Paris or the Versailles Palace via the RER metro. Tour members are free catch their train or flight out of town at any time of course.
