Tour Breakdown
London is a sprawling urban metropolis of over 12 million inhabitants. Even though English is spoken here (though not always easy for us Americans to understand!), this city can easily be overwhelming to first-time visitors and is often a nightmare to navigate around on your own affordably. But, you HAVE to see London if you're going to visit anywhere in Europe because it has played such a key role in the development of Western society and of course, for us Americans, is our "Mother" country. Plus, it has some of the most recognizable places in the world! So, WSA designed a fun, exciting and affordable itinerary to make sure you see all the most important sights during a weekend here.
With WSA you'll experience all that London has to offer in a jam-packed two and a half days in downtown London. On Friday we'll explore town with a walking tour to give you your bearings. We'll pass through the Borough Market and stroll along the Millenium Walk past Shakespeare's globe, the London Eye and Big Ben. That afternoon we'll head to the other side of town and hop on some beach cruiser bikes to tour even more of the city. That evening we'll explore the famous West End and see what makes London England's LA, NYC and DC all rolled into one.
The next day we'll check out the City, and tour the notorious Tower of London with the legendary Beefeaters. We'll also head to Brick Lane, the spot where Chicken Tikka Masala was actually invented! We'll cap off the tour on Sunday with visits to some of London's most unique outdoor markets. All in all, we excited to give you a true taste of London during your short visit here!
