  • At the Top of Mt. Vesuvious

Posted by Andy Steves on September 14, 2011.

Taking a step closer to the edge, I was surprised that I could actually see the bottom of the crater.  Moreover, I was shocked that I was standing on a volcano but not just any volcano.  I was at the top of Mt. Vesuvius.

  • Pizza in Naples

Posted by Andy Steves on September 14, 2011.

I folded the warm crust of the pizza, making sure not to loose any of the mozzarella or tomatoes.  Slowly, I lifted the pizza and took a bite.  The pizza was simple – only tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella – but it was the most delicious pizza I had ever tasted.  The simple ingredients were … More »

An hour and a half from Rome, the town of Orvieto sits in the heart of tufa cliffs in Umbria.  The town has developed over the last three thousand years and today it is home to one of the most magnificent cathedrals in Italy.

Happy Backpackers

This past weekend a group of my friends and I decided to go to Budapest, but wanted to go with a group because we were unsure of what we wanted to do and how to plan our trip. Booking the trip through WSA was the best idea we ever had. It was basically all planned out for us (excluding flights). It was great because there were plenty of things planned for us that were included in the package, but there was also a bit of free time for us to explore the city and do the things we were most interested in. I really enjoyed the caving and thermal baths we visited during our trip! Also the hostel that was booked for us through WSA was great and our tour guide, Bogi, was amazing! I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone and am happy to say that I will be booking more trips with WSA in the future!
